The following guide will show you how to import media into Wondershare Filmii, as well as how you can organize and manage your files once you’ve imported them.
Import Media – Auto Creation
In Filmii’s template editing mode, you can add clips and images by either dragging them into the drop zone or clicking Import to open your file explorer and locate the media you want to import.
In this mode, you cannot add audio files.
You will need to import at least 3 media assets and drag them into the timeline in order to continue the Auto Create process.
Import Media – Advanced Editing
In this mode, you can import media by dragging it from your computer into the drop zone or clicking Import to open your file explorer.
Organizing Media – Auto Creation
Once you’ve imported your media you can choose what order your clips and images will appear in your video by dragging them into the timeline area and then dragging them into the order you want.
Organizing Media – Advanced Editing
You can organize your media by sorting it into different folders.
On the left of the interface, right above the timeline toolbar, you’ll see icons that look like folders. Click the folder with the + sign to create a new one.
You can add media to your new folder by either dragging it there from the media library or by going into the folder and clicking Import.
Media that has been moved into a folder you’ve created will no longer appear when you click Project Media and will only be available from its folder.
Shared Media
Besides the Project Media option, there is one other default folder in Advanced Editing mode – Shared Media. Media added to this folder will be available in all of your Filmii projects without any need to import it again.
